The exterior façade of this farmhouse, built in 1848, was to remain completely unchanged, but energy consumption was to be reduced. Fixit 222 aerogel insulating plaster was therefore used to create reliable interior insulation with a layer thickness of 5 cm. Fixit 777 design plaster with a 1.5 mm grain size was then applied to the insulating plaster as a finish coat.

This historic building, dating from 1651 and classified as worthy of preservation, shows the centuries on its exterior façade. For the energy-efficient renovation, Fixit 222 Aerogel high-performance insulating plaster was applied to the façade in a layer thickness of 7–8 cm using a spraying method. Fixit 203 finishing plaster with hydraulic lime was applied as the finishing coat and then painted twice with Fixit 784 OF mineral sol-silicate paint. The exterior wall adjacent to the stable next to the building was insulated with 140 mm thick COMPACT PRO rock wool insulation boards.

The idyllic detached house in Belp with its small tower extension was to be renovated to improve its energy efficiency. To this end, the entire plaster structure was stripped down to the brickwork and rebuilt with Fixit 222 Aerogel high-performance insulating plaster in a layer thickness of 4 cm. Fixit 777 fine plaster with a grain size of 2 mm was used as the finishing plaster, which was then painted twice with individually coloured and biocide-free Calsilit historica mineral paint.

The 19th-century building makes optimal use of the existing space on a relatively small footprint over three floors. The Pavillon Thouvenel was renovated to improve its energy efficiency using Fixit 222 aerogel high-performance insulating plaster. The façade now shines in new splendour, while energy consumption has been reduced.

The historic Mühlestock building in Madiswil is a listed building, which meant that external insulation was not an option in this case. In order to renovate the building in line with conservation requirements and improve its energy efficiency, Fixit 222 Aerogel high-performance insulating plaster was used. This allowed the interior walls to be visually preserved with their original character and historically curved, slightly sloping walls. The insulating plaster was applied to the quarry stone masonry of the interior walls with a layer thickness of 3–8 cm.

This detached house from the 1920s is the first Minergie-certified building in Switzerland to be renovated for energy efficiency using Fixit 222 Aerogel high-performance insulating plaster. In order to retain the window reveals, the old plaster was completely removed and then replaced with Fixit 222 Aerogel high-performance insulating plaster. Finally, the entire façade was painted twice with Fixit 786 Si silicate-silicone roll-on paint in a dark terracotta shade. Thanks to the low layer thickness of Fixit 222 Aerogel high-performance plaster, the original appearance of the building was retained.
