Scope of application:

This declaration applies to the online platform of Fixit AG (hereinafter ‘Fixit’), including the freely accessible self-service tools, product information and contact functions.

Fixit endeavours to make its digital services accessible in accordance with the requirements of the German Accessibility Improvement Act [Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG] and the German Accessible Information Technology Ordinance [Barrierefreie-Informationstechnik-Verordnung (BITV 2.0), BITV 2.0] based on it, as well as the technical requirements of the EN 301 549 standard (corresponding to WCAG 2.2, conformity level AA).

Current status of compatibility:

This website and the associated tools are partially compliant with the requirements of the aforementioned standards.
Non-compliant content is currently being systematically identified and revised.

This declaration was prepared on 28 April 2025 on the basis of a self-assessment and technical checks using automated tools.

Non-accessible content

The following content and functions are not yet fully accessible:

Some PDF documents and older Office files published before 23 September 2018 are not accessible (missing tags, alternative texts, structural information)
Some navigation areas are currently not yet fully keyboard operable (WCAG 2.1.1 Keyboard operability)
Alternative texts are missing for some decorative graphics (WCAG 1.1.1 Non-text content)
Video content does not yet have subtitles or audio descriptions (WCAG 1.2.2 / 1.2.5)
