FOME® – Evolution of insulating plasters

FOME® is an innovative insulating plaster system that meets the future ecological and technical challenges of façades. It is used either as a classic external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS), a rear-ventilated façade (VHF) or as core insulation in new buildings and renovations.

This unique system is patent-protected and was developed and tested over several years by Fixit and Holcim. To date, over 8,000 m² of façade surfaces in old and new buildings have been completed using the FOME® insulation plaster system.

Stucanet® Easy Fix decoupling tape: The world's first product for plaster decoupling at material transitions and mortar joints

When applied correctly, the innovative, self-adhesive plaster bridge reduces the risk of plaster cracks due to material changes.

Two different substrates can be quickly and easily decoupled. Stucanet® Easy Fix can then be plastered directly onto the surface.

Fixit POR foam concrete and foam mortar: For easy levelling or filling channels and pipes

Fixit POR products for indoor and outdoor use are available in various bulk densities ranging from 200 to 1,300 kg/m³.

Uneven substrates, installation levels or floor steps can be easily filled. Thanks to its flowable consistency, Fixit POR envelops all unevenness or pipes and forms a stable layer.

Fixit 222 Aerogel high-performance insulating plaster: The effective insulation solution for historic buildings for over 10 years

Together with Empa, we have developed Fixit 222 Aerogel high-performance insulating plaster to make the energy-efficient renovation of historic buildings easy.

Thanks to its thermal conductivity of just 0.028 W/mK, the external façade can be efficiently insulated with a layer thickness of 4–6 cm without compromising the visual appearance of the listed building.
