Fixit 211

The rough cast cement mortar with adhesion promoter is a component of the Fixit renovating plaster system. It improves adhesion to the following plaster layer. Fixit 211 serves as a primer for a range of base coats. Application is very economical as the product is machine-compatible.

The block of flats, built in 1935, has undergone a complete refurbishment. To improve the building’s energy efficiency in future and ensure a comfortable indoor climate, it was refurbished using Fixit 222 Aerogel high-performance insulating plaster. The plaster was applied using the spray-plastering method. Our Fixit 745 design plaster was used as the finishing coat. The two-tone façade design is particularly striking with its pastel shades of green.

The late Gothic building probably served as a chaplaincy for the Bullingerpfründe and became a parish assistant's house after the recatholisation in 1531. The building, which is now a listed building, has been renovated several times over the centuries – most recently in 1990. Following the conversion and energy-efficient renovation in 2016, the historic building continues to be used for residential purposes. A studio was created on the ground floor, which could also be used as a one-room flat with a small kitchen and bathroom. A 2.5-room flat was created on the first floor and a 4.5-room maisonette flat on the second floor. In addition, a basement extension with a new archive for the parish was built.

The four-storey apartment building in La Chaux-de-Fonds was renovated to improve its energy efficiency using Fixit 222 Aerogel high-performance insulating plaster. Before applying the thermal insulation plaster using a spraying technique, the substrate was pre-treated accordingly: a coating and primer were used to ensure good plaster adhesion. The mineral finishing plaster was painted twice with an orange façade paint.

The apartment building from the 1930s was renovated to improve its energy efficiency. The insulation consists of Fixit 222 Aerogel high-performance insulating plaster with a layer thickness of 4 cm. Fixit 777 fine plaster (2.0 mm grain size) was used as a full-textured finishing coat, which was painted twice with Fixit 786 Si roll-on paint.

The historic apartment building in Lausanne, built in 1905, underwent an energy-efficient renovation using Fixit 222 Aerogel high-performance insulating plaster with a layer thickness of 3 cm. This allowed the exterior appearance with the window frames, balconies and cornices to be preserved. Fixit 203 finishing plaster with hydraulic lime in a grain size of 0–1 mm was used as the finishing plaster. This was painted twice with Fixit 786 Si silicate-silicone roll-on paint.
