Information
This small church in Zurich is visually striking thanks to its unique shape: floating, cubic elements are combined with a round, almost tower-like element. Insulation was to be installed to reduce energy consumption. However, conventional insulation boards would have been extremely difficult to install due to the curves. Therefore, Fixit 222 aerogel high-performance insulation plaster was used. After removing the old base and top coat layers, the system was built up using the highly efficient Fixit 222 aerogel insulation plaster. Fixit 777 fine plaster with a terracotta-coloured coat was used as the top coat.
