Historic apartment block with UNESCO World Heritage status renovated with Fixit 222 Aerogel high-performance insulating plaster

With our unique Fixit 222 Aerogel high-performance insulating render, the building, which dates back to 1930, was brought up to date in terms of energy efficiency - in accordance with the strict requirements and specifications of UNESCO.

This is possible thanks to the innovative insulation solution with aerogel elements directly in the render. The high insulation value of 0.028 W/mK ensures efficient, energy-efficient refurbishment of historic buildings with an appearance worthy of preservation and protection - without changing the proportions of the building or having to compromise on small details. The high-performance insulating plaster is efficient in its insulating effect from just a few centimetres and can be applied seamlessly thanks to the spraying process.

In this case, the façades were first stripped, pre-treated and then plastered with a layer of around 30-40 mm of Fixit 222 Aerogel high-performance insulating render. The high-quality Fixit 777 decorative render was used as the finishing render. This was then painted twice for a perfect appearance.
