The AAA2024 – the Aerogel Architecture Award 2024 – is taking place for the fourth time this year. Energy-efficiently renovated buildings with Fixit 222 Aerogel high-performance insulating plaster are eligible to participate under the given conditions of the competition.
This year, the AAA2024 - Aerogel Architecture Award 2024 - competition is taking place for the fourth time. Buildings that have undergone energy-efficient renovation using Fixit 222 Aerogel High-Performance Thermal Insulation Plaster are eligible to take part in the competition under the given conditions.
The competition rewards objects in the field of renovation and heritage conservation that have been built using innovative aerogel-based insulation solutions. Projects can be submitted in two categories until 14 June 2024. The high-level panel of judges will assess submissions on the basis of historic preservation, energy efficiency and the originality of the solution. The prize-giving ceremony will take place in the NEST building on the Empa campus and will present the winning projects to a wide audience.
