Mineral-based Fixit 222 Aerogel High-Performance Insulating Plaster is the innovation in the field of building insulation. Thanks to the addition of Aerogel granulate, the plaster boasts a thermal conductivity of just 0,028 W/mK (tests value 0,026 W/mK, Empa Test Report 5214-003132, dated 6.9.2013). This is a two or three times better performance than conventional insulating plaster can achieve. After building renovation work using the Fixit Aerogel insulating plaster system, heating costs can be reduced by as much as 2/3 – and this using minimal layer thicknesses of just 30 to 50 mm.
